Garret -- Such sad, pleading eyes! This little guy has certainly known his share of adversity in his short miserable life! Precious little Garrett is suffering from several maladies that are the result of malnutrition and starvation, but hopefully his lot in life is making a tremendous change for the better. To look at this precious young soul is to witness the results of callousness and a truly cruel lack of love and compassion. Garrett has a distended belly, his little ribs, hips, and spine are plainly visible, and his little legs are deformed, and yet when he looks at you with those sad eyes, he instantly....without hesitation...begins wagging his tail in a friendly greeting. He has been severely and sorely neglected, yet he still has a heart full of love. Precious little Garrett loves to cuddle, too. This adorable little soul deserves so much more...so much better....than what he has had. He deserves happiness, and joy, and good health. He deserves a happy home. He deserves a loving family that will care for him and love and protect him. Garrett was brought to the shelter as a stray, but if he is not reclaimed, he will be made available for adoption.
